How do you organize your programs, songs or multimedia files?

In my computer, i organize my multimedia files according to their name, type, size, groups and modified. My songs, movies and pictures are in different folders according to thier categories and i save it under the hard disk drives not in the computer. This is because the computer have memory less than hard disk drive. The PC will operate slowly when the memory is getting lower. Thus we should save the multimedia files in the hard disk drive which have more memory and it wouldnt abbundent the PC. After we organize the files according to the category, we can divide into name according to alphabatical rank, for example songs save from 'A' to 'Z' and 'others'. For pictures i save it as according to its ceremony taken and the dates and for the movies according to megabytes. Songs also can be save to thier type, wheter its Tamil, English, Malay or Indonesia ongs and the date has been modified. I ususally save the folders according to its album and movie's name and my favourite songs will be in my 'my fav playlist'. Some people save thier folders as its celebrity, like actor, actress, singer and etc. The movies i arranged according to its programmes like TV shows, karoake, comedy, and video clips.
This organization helps me to find the folders easily when i needed. Its more need and arranged to search.
